I was vaguely aware of the way antibiotics work,but you have put it very succinctly,in explaining this particular one.Thank you!

Why in paragraph three does it say that the drug does not kill bacteria then in paragraph five that it is important to take the whole course in order to kill all of the bacteria? Surely this is a contradiction
