Posted Jul 27, 2009 by Wand'rin star In 1960 I acted the part of Merriman in the school play ("The Importance of being Earnest"). He has very few lines, mostly about the dog cart coming to take Algy away in disgrace. It has taken 49 years to discover what the mode of transport was - thanks to the Museum of Transport which finished our lovely weekend in Hull. It was great to meet some old friends and two I've not met before.Others were missed, but thanks to a composite picture provided by Moonhogg, their faces were with us. Special thanks to Galaxy Babe for the multiple views of the Humber Bridge.

Posted Jul 27, 2009 by Sho (I can't be asked) so what is a dog-cart then? I've often wondered (being a newly-minted Georgette Heyer fan I think they are mentioned a few times)
