Good entry.
Waste to energy plants (trash burners) are the way to go they burn the refuse to make power they keep the trash out of landfills and have come a long way in reducing the amount of co2/dioxin emissions.
so
Less trash in landfills
Less coal/natural gas burned for power
Less emissions than the trash decomposing at the landfill
and we recover Metal for recycling.
WTE is probably not the final solution but we have to do something to keep this place clean.
