Geoid (the word 'primarily' indicates that the answer is found by taking the initial letter of each of the remaining words in the clue).

If someone else is able to post a clue before I do, please go ahead.

Well, I do have one other unsolved clue from last Saturday's Times...I have a potential answer but I'm not sure of the derivation. See how you get on with it:

Fix a time to carry over books on a particular subject (9)

That one was 'Tractates' RF.

It is set(fix) a t(time) cart(to carry) over(backwards) and tractates are tracts or books on a particular subject. There's one I couldn't get in the jumbo but I can't remember what the clue was; if I can find the paper, I may post for avice ok

Thanks, van-smeiter!

I've finished that crossword now, so if you remember the clue you couldn't get, let me know.
