Movie of HGtG

I also had my doubts about Mos Def as Ford. I had always envisioned James Spader in the role. Perhaps because he never seems to blink and my eyes tend to water for him. But after seeing the movie twice now, I can't imagine anyone else playing the part. He absolutely won me over with his take on the character. The same can be said for Sam Rockwell's manic portrayal of Zaphod. In fact, the only change I would have made in casting is Zooey Deschanel as Trillian. There was something about her performance that wasn't quite right... Hopefully with the next movie she will fall into a groove with the others.
