Posted Sep 15, 1999 by Doc So if guinea pigs eat their own droppings so that it can make its way through the digestive system twice - how do they know which droppings they have already consumed? Or is the guinea pig dropping like a sherry, in that each dropping is derived from all the droppings consumed beforehand and contains traces from the orignal dropping munched?
