y r there so many mails about rainbows?

the reason you cant find the end of a rainbow is because it dosent have
one.the total internal reflection is really total.light just bends
itself into a complete arc which can only be seen if you're lucky enough
from an aeroplane.also there are a few other variations to the basic
rainbow theme.rainbows can occasionally be glimpsed by moonlight.but light
intensity (actually the dispersive power W) is not enough to view the
full spectrum.only a white band is observed.another very rare and
unexplained phenomenon is the 'vertical' rainbow only seen over
water bodies.
