It is, of course, traditional to splash out on expensive items for one's SO. This will, of course, have been bought well in advance, because if there's one present it's absolutely imperative to get right, this is the one.
So, when they dump you just before Christmas, you get to keep the gender-oriented item for yourself. Brilliant.
