Posted Jul 8, 2000 by Researcher 143482 We have a notice posted on all our ambulances which says 'Seat Belts Must Be Worn'. Surely it would be better if they were in perfect working order? And anyway, if this is the case, why are new vehicles supplied with brand new seat belts

I know it's been mentioned elsewhere, but there's the classic one about rail crossing in Yorkshire - The signs read "do not cross while red lights are flashing" all very well, but in Yorkshire the word 'while' is interpreted as meaning 'until' You can fill in the rest for yourselves.
Also - there's a sign in central Prague advertising "Non-stop Parking" now work that one out...

Posted Sep 8, 2000 by Cheerful Dragon There's the following sign on a letter-box outside the Post Office near my house:
'Final collection Monday to Friday 6.30pm
There is a later collection from the sorting office at Fishing Rod Lane at 6.30pm'
Unfortunately, the sorting office is not sufficiently far west to make an appreciable difference in time zone!

I would think that only applies to wary Catholics, don't you?
