MXC is hilarious. I just wish they'd make some new episodes using the original series footage. The US made 'almost live' version just wasn't as good. There's just an attitude that the Japanese have that the Americans can't reproduce... Especially when they're in on it.
It's like the way it's fun to laugh at bad karaoke singers, but horrible to watch someone pretending to be a bad karaoke singer.
Does that make sense?
