So I guess it's true then; before any other political cause, we really have to work on fixing/conserving the environment.

Ishmael is a wholly amazing book by Daniel Quinn. Everyone I have talked to who has read it was convinced the greatest threat to modern man is the separation of man from nature. One of a few, actually; the guy's a writing machine.

I don't know if seperation from nature is the same thing as disregard for nature's needs and importance. I for one consider the environment to be of great importance, but at the same time I don't want to be living in the forest with a stick and a rock. Modern society can exist just fine in a sustainable way without having to revert to savagery. We just need to think and plan better and consider the long-term consequence of our actions.

Glad to see my writing has such impact.
