Yes I do remember him; Tommy Cooper!!
Watching him on TV every week in the Netherlands in the Sixtees.
It all seemed to be very nonchalant and most of all I did enjoy his big smile as if he himself had the most fun of us all.
His appearence was very "common"; almost the big looser.
But that mix of appearance, failing trics, that smiling expression at his face, this huge man with that stupid flowerpot on his head; it all came togheter in Tommy Cooper.
He did die on stage, didn't he, while everybody was laughing, thinking it was a joke?? The absolute perfect end of this comic.
Yes, it gives me goose pimples, when I think of him.
I am grateful to have known him as a comedian.
Greatings from Amsterdam.
