 Posted Feb 7, 2006 by Advocatus Diaboli ... expert testimony on both sides refused to commit to the idea that wearing a helmet is always a good thing; the neurosurgeon involved had found no correlation at all between the severity of brain injury suffered and whether or not the cyclist involved had been wearing a helmet: non-helmet wearers had survived without injury incidents that left those with helmets badly hurt.
