The Worlds Best Curry Houses

If you find yourself in Portland, Oregon I can definitely recommend a great place for wonderful curry and other Indian dishes.
Head for Swagats @ NW20th and Lovejoy and they’re right at the corner.
Their webpage [URL Removed by moderator] has listings for their other locations in Oregon and California bay area but it looks like they haven’t included the Portland location there. It does exist! I try to get there for my Lamb Vindaloo fix at least twice a month (the Saag –Lamb or Chicken- is also not to be missed!). They also have a great buffet for lunch before 5:00pm.

The Worlds Best Curry Houses

Hi, I'm a newbie trying to add details of three great curry houses. One in Copenhagen, Denmark, one in Munich, Germany, and one in Market Drayton, Shropshire UK. In Copenhagen, head for the Indian Mahal (address from the Tourist Office). There is a certificate of guarantee for a 'fire ring' displayed outside!! In Munich, the Tandoori is a must on Baumstrasse. It's the oldest Indian restaurant in Munich (est. 1978). Go for the Chicken Madras and don't be offended by the swastikas around the place...the symbol was ?Hindu before it ever came to Europe. In Shropshire, the Jaipur is tops. The lads there come up from Birmingham every day to serve probably the best vindaloo in the county. Excellent service but book in advance. Does anyone have the precise address of the Sabraaj in Bradford? I dined there in 1990 and will return late July. It's the portakabin curry house if I remember correctly. Thanks.
