In my on-going project to get away from the computer get out and meet people, have found a group in Nottingham who organise social get-togethers (next week: bring a board game)
Anyway enough of my social life of lack thereof. I thinking of attending a lecture by Steven Fuller an American Sociologist on the topic of Transhumanism.
Which reminded me of this thread when I suggested Transhumanism might be right up Julzes alley which raged here only a week or so ago from post: 2499 onward.
A bit of googling and we find this lecture by Steven Fuller (lecturing at my old Alma Mata) on much a similar theme, which I thought might well be worth sharing.

I was thinking Trivial Pursuit. (Anyone who follows my exploits on the QI Society - A22174526 - shhould come as no surprise, this is my favourite game!
