Posted Jun 18, 2009 by Malabarista - considering the aesthetics of variable-altitude livestock I'll be sure to watch out for and avoid this type of specimen, thank you
I love the picture they've dug up for this one, too.

Posted Jun 18, 2009 by hevghirl All I can say is, if my man thinks he's disappearing off to European games, there'll be hell to pay...for leaving me behind! In our house, football is just as vital to each other.
I take umbrage at being labelled a football widow because I'm female. Whenever footie season starts, tv advertisers aim slushy romantic American guff at us, making out that since I'm female, clearly I must hate football, and obviously must love romantic comedy or whatever it is they think women like.
I say ban the romance films, all that other girly crap!

I'm all for banning those, and I don't care for football, either.
But then, I don't have a TV at all.
(Oh, and welcome to h2g2, hevghirl!)

Woops - nearly missed this it was so quick.
hevghirl, If you're into football you're obviously not a football widow but a football fan, and there's nothing wrong with that.
This entry is about the women who aren't fans (like myself) who are second or possibly third fiddle to his football team. There's quite a lot of us about but having said that I don't want to watch romantic comedies either but that's another story.
Mala - be careful they can disguise it very well in the courtship days.
