Althought I believe most American medical schools DO have an oath on graduation, I was under the impression that many (if not most) British schools do not, including many of the best.
What the norm is in China, India or any of the other countries that churn out huge numbers of doctors, I don't know. But I would have to question the "most" in "... most graduating medical students swear to some form of the oath ...."
