I can't believe you've made it sound so difficult! I have one of those wheelbraces which were obviously designed for crushing the skulls of blood-sucking aliens (i.e. nice and chunky). Before you attempt to use the jack, attach the brace thingy to the nuts, then jump on it. Unless you're that skinny thing from Ally McBeal the nut WILL come loose. Oh-oh alert: make sure you're attempting to LOOSEN the nuts and not TIGHTEN them with this advanced technique!! Then you continue on with the rest of the instructions (i.e. lose wheel nuts, slide brace too far under car etc.) and you're done, with knuckle skin intact. Don't forget to return for the brace a day or two later- you never know when those pesky blood-sucking aliens will show up!
