Posted Jun 16, 2006 by a visitor to planet earth Years ago when I was a child I had many holidays in Ireland. The main source of fuel was turf or peat as some people call it. The turf cutters or diggers used to go off on their bicycles to cut the turf and to quench their thirst they bought some tea with them in a glass bottle. This tea was normal tea but without the milk and it was drunk cold. It seemed unusual to me at the time.
