Posted Feb 19, 2003 by Rachie D ..terrible at keeping in touch with people I love Ekte Geitost. I have also tried Ski Queen, and it is a little bland compared to Geitost. I never knew how it was made until now!

Posted Feb 20, 2003 by Rachie D ..terrible at keeping in touch with people I'd make do with either every day, but it's too expensive over here. I'm lucky we've got a great local cheese shop which sells them, all the same!

Posted Feb 21, 2003 by NAITA (Join ViTAL - A1014625) Dunno how much it is now, since I rarely look at the price of food, but according to government price statistics (it's funny what you can find online) it was about £4.8 pr. kg. in 1997. I'll stop thinking about cheese now.

Thanks for that! I have no idea how much it is per kilo in our local little cheese shop. All I know is that about 3cm worth off a block is about £2.50.
Of course it is cheaper at food exhibitions etc. where the manufacturers sell a whole block for about £5.00. There's not that many of those though!
Thanks very much for the article anyway.
