Dear Christiane
This is just to wish you well for the visit to the psychiatrist. I hope you and K have some good news.
You mentioned the hospital at the top of the Peak in Hong Kong. If that was the Matilda, it's where I had my gall bladder out a few years ago. I was very impressed because the surgeon warmed his hands in hot water before he examined me.
They have a sedan chair race every year to make money for the hospital and I helped out for a couple of years.star star

Posted Nov 10, 2009 by Paul H . If you think I look old, you should see my father
Is that Mount Victoria, which has a panaramic view of the Hong Kong skyline? I have fond memories of the four days that I spent in that city in 1989.

Hi wandring star star and Paul H

Yes the appointment was at the Matilda. #The doctor spent an hour with Keith, and came out saying that he had never met such an interesting person. I was very chuffed. It is so strange going up on that sort of tilting tram thing when one is leaning backwards/ forward, depending on which way one is going. also that marvellous view from the top of the hill.

Medcine is very good in Hong Kong. Fortunately I was never ill there. Six of my grandchildren were born in Hong Kong. The three australian ones, and the two english ones. Twp of my children spent their first married years in Hong Kong.
Paul you have been to a great many countries n'est-ce pas. You must have very many happy memories.

go well,

Christiane AR80
