Not sure if I should admit it, but I caused minor mayhem in 1996 by doing something similar during a temp job. I wasn't actually trying to induce apoplexy in the IT dept. head, I just wanted a slightly less anonymous desktop, so rotated the snapshot of the desktop 180 degrees.
Then there was the incident with a departmental network, and my efforts to learn COBOL to move a little Dalek around the screen...
