Sometimes only a cuddle will do, especially if there's a sofa involved. Hugging is one thing - friends hug at the end of a night out - but cuddling is just so much more meaningful, don't you think? People hug trees, but they cuddle humans, and there's probably a serious point in there somewhere.

One of our favourite artists at h2g2 Towers is Ralph McTell, the formidably talented folk singer/songwriter, best known for his little ditty 'Streets of London'. But not a lot of people know that he also wrote and sang the theme tune to the British children's TV programme Tickle on the Tum, and for anyone who can't work out a use for the tickle smiley, we recommend you seek out Mr McTell's work for elucidation.
