Douglas Adams was the man responsible for bringing joy to a planet that is Mostly Harmless, Although Never learning to fly himself (He had an uncanny knack for never missing a beat), He joyfully spread the art of flying about his home planet of earth, unfortunately - one 1 in ten million humans could ever learn to fly. Needless to say this resulted in a general increase of Medical emergencies.
So, in remembrance, Never forget your towel, and drink a Pan Galactic Gargleblaster to his memory. I bet he is really really sorry for killing that fly all those years ago.... and the spider.... and the small animal he hit with his car...
On a Serious Note, I have enjoyed his work and I am truly saddened by his passing. He gave me a lot to laugh about throughout my Teenage and Young adult years. Plus my "medical emergency" was not all that unpleasant.
