The euro is the common Currency of the european community states Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain.

The exchange rates between these currencies are fixed since 1 January 1999.

Germany1 € = 1,95583German Mark

The bank notes and coins are not yet available. They will be introduced at 1 January 2002.
