Two people in silhouette playing cricket on a beach at sunset
Cricket on the beach, by Andy Vile, Birmingham.
It was taken last year, in Goa, India - a nice sunset over the Indian ocean, with some kids from the other side of the world playing an arcane English sport...

As any Hitchhiker fan will know, cricket played a big part in the story: it's a game that's incomprehensible to most, even to some of the people who profess to play it. We love the composition of this shot: the silhouettes, the lighting and the colours, but really we just loved Andy's point about it being a traditional English summer pastime being played on a far-flung shore.
