The Gorilla
A drink invented by conscript soldiers fighting in bush wars in southern Africa. The drink was intended to help them forget the horrors of these pointless conflicts. In fact, this is only surmised: all that they could remember was how to make this drink1.
Recipe:
a) Take one pint tankard.
b) Fill to two inches of the top.
c) Pour in one inch of whisky (ideally manufactured in a still behind the bar).
d) Turn your back to the bar.
e) Throw a coin over your shoulder.
f) Fill the tankard to the top with whatever bottle you hit.

1. And, in rare cases, their names.
