When consumed together in a span of no less than four hours, the two beverages, which *coincidentally* are made by the same company, Coca-Cola, synergistically react with one another and cause a disturbing reaction. The actual weight of the liquid contained in two cans is 24 ounces. HOWEVER, when mixed, Diet Cherry Coke and Caffeine Free Diet Coke will cause your bathroom scale to register three pounds heavier than when the SAME AMOUNT of liquid is consumed but consists solely of one or the other softdrink. Or maybe it was the cheesecake.
