A pig moneybox wearing a mortar board

Education is a right that should be available to all, regardless of ability to finance it. While primary and secondary education is free (unless parents chose otherwise), further and higher education can cost a lot of money. Should university places be free, or does the current system work well?

  • Should education be free from the day you start school, to the day that you graduate?

  • Where should the money come from to fund pupils and students at different stages of their education?

  • Does working through university affect your studies for better or worse?

  • Is it true that those who can afford a private schooling get a better education?

  • What are scholarships, and who can get them?

  • Are there certain subjects that should be paid for as extras, and some that should be free?

  • Would you like the option to opt-out of state-funded education and receive tax rebates towards financing education in other ways?
