Before I can decide whether I support or oppose the proposed badger cull I would like to pose two simple questions.

Is the badger species over-populated?

Or is it just a nuisance to certain sections of the human population?

If the answer is yes to the former, a cull would be sensible, regardless of whether you think these are cuddly little creatures.

If the answer is yes to the latter, a cull would be barbaric.

Would be great to know so I can ascertain my views.
