Welcome to the "Defenders Of Skepticism" (DOS)'s page.

Mission

The goal of DOS is to present and premote skeptical views on H2G2 by:

1.) Pointing out error and posting skeptical commentary to articles that are credulous of such ideas as creationism, psychic powers, dowsing, ghosts, ect.

2.) Debating with researchers who are credulous of such ideas as creationism, psychic powers, dowsing, ghosts, ect.

3.) Creating a listing of skeptical articles commenting on such things as creationism, psychic powers, dowsing, ghosts, ect.

4.) Commenting on skeptical articles sumbited to the Edited Guide and subbmitting skepticle articles to the Edited Guide.

5.) Commenting on articles that are credulous of such ideas as creationism, psychic powers, dowsing, ghosts, ect. and have been submitted with the edited guide.

Membership

Membership is open to all H2G2 members who have a skeptical outlook on the world. Those who do not, it is assumed, would not want to be members, anyway.

Members are asked to post to this entry any articles that they feel ought to be listed in DOS's listing of skeptical entries as well as any entries that they feel need skepticle commentary.

Members are entitled to post the DOS badge on their user page (See the section headed "DOS Badge") and to put "DOS" or "Defender of Skepticism) in their user name. Of course, I can't keep non-members from doing this, but I hereby ask them politely not to.

If interested in joining DOS, let me know by posting your user number to the conversation entitled "I want to Join DOS". Please don't post anything else to that thread.
