The BBC seems to be under the impression all we want to hear from new bands/artists are different shades of Indie music. Not aimed at this band in particular, just that going through these new bands I'm disappointed by the lack of musical ambition and reluctance to take chance; an over-reverance for past musical genres. I hear plenty of bands on Myspace who never see tha light of day and are at least trying to push musical boundaries rather than place safe with magpie-like music by numbers of the all-conquering Indie-Rock. I don't expect this to be posted, this is a request those of you at the BBC to realise there are a significant number of us out here who want to be charmed by novelty and originality. Cheers for at least showing some new acts on the website, pity I'm not seeing more comments. Sun 28 Jun 2009 13:05:23 GMT+1
