This is the official Gaslight Anthem messageboard, http://thegaslightanthem.bigforumpro.com/forum.htmA great source for news and tours! I think this could be the performance that sees their popularity explode into the mainstream in the UK. You can find out loads more about Gaslight @ www.dimestoresaints.com Sun 28 Jun 2009 23:10:40 GMT+1 ess_gee http://www.bbc.co.uk/glastonbury/2009/artists/gaslightanthem/?page=8#comment3 But they have been Supporting Bruce, i would know as i went and saw them with him. I had never heard of Gaslight Anthem until the other day. I will have to check out more of their stuff. They remind me of The Killers. Clearly there is some Springsteen influence in them too (judging by the band title and general sound). It must have been a dream come true to get to play with Bruce on stage. 'Cos Springsteen doesn't have a support act, so they certainly can't meant that...This just goes to show how lazy the coverage from the BBC is - How can they get something so simple so wrong?
