what is the Industry Panel?
The Industry Panel is an ever-growing selection of established film industry professionals (commissioners, distributors, festival programmers, directors etc) who regularly watch the new films screening on Film Network and provide feedback to filmmakers on their work. The purpose of the Industry Panel is to connect new filmmakers with those already established within the industry.
what do the Industry Panel do?
Members of the Industry Panel are sent bulletins about all the new films that go up on the site. If they are interested in the films/filmmakers, they have the opportunity to comment on the films and contact the filmmakers via the site or offsite through the Film Network team.

Kenton Allen (BBC) is the BBC's Creative Head of Talent and Head of Comedy North. He was the producer of the TV series 'The Royle Family' as well as of the Oscar-winning short film, Six Shooter. See profile

Paul Ashton (BBC Writersroom) is the Development Manager at BBC Writersroom. Paul previously freelanced as a script reader and editor across film,TV, radio and theatre, as well as teaching scriptwriting, directing new work in the theatre, and writing his own script for stage and screen. Robin Baker (BFI) has worked in independent film exhibition, distribution and marketing for 15 years. His first short film, Seafood (2004), was produced for the UK Film Council’s Digital Shorts scheme. His second film, Christmas Merry (2005), was a commission for BBC Three. Caroline Cooper Charles (WarpX) is Head of Creative Development at WarpX. WarpX is a new digital studio developing low-budget feature films, allied to Warp Films and Warp Records. Catharine Des Forges (ICO) is the Director of the Independent Cinema Office (ICO). The ICO is the national organisation developing and supporting independent film exhibition throughout the UK. See profile

Claire Geddie (Stellar Network) is the Managing Director of Stellar Network UK, a non-profit members organisation which holds training and social events for film, television and theatre professionals in both London and New York. Claire started her career in television programming and acquisitions, ultimately scheduling Canadian specialty channel Drive-In Classics. She has also worked in feature film production and distribution and is also a regular contributor on Classic Gold Digital Radio, reviewing new theatrical releases and DVDs as one of their Girls on Film. Kerry Mcleod (Documentary Filmmakers Group) runs Membership and Events at DFG, and is editor of DFGDocs, the world’s largest online documentary resource, and the DFG Community. She also produces a host of industry events and initiatives including 10x10, the project development and networking workshop.
