biog
Robin has been interested in filmmaking since the age of five, when his big brother Danny roped him into being covered in fake blood out in the woods in the freezing cold for many 8mm horror films. After making his friends do the same for a few of his own amateur films, he trained as an actor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and has acted on television and stage. He soon realised he could be much more sadistic as a director and in 2003 set up Stand Alone Films Ltd with producer Denise Hoey, and went back to school for a year, studying 16mm Filmmaking in London. His first film, Ten Thousand Pictures of You, has so far won two awards and is still playing in festivals all over the world. His second short, Five Card Stud, is currently in postproduction. Robin is represented by Bikini Films in London. my links
