A graduate of the Royal College of Art and a thoroughly nice chap, Tony is an animation director with a passion for education. His film ‘Abigail’ was awarded a special distinction from the Annecy Animation festival, and has since drawn the attention of many interesting people including Saatchi and Saatchi, Creative Review and Radiohead. He collaborates frequently with fellow animator and BAFTA nominee Ian Gouldstone. A pairing that French newspaper Libération described as “the gangsters of animation”. In 2006 he was selected for the NESTA Creative Pioneer programme in which he developed a business plan around the desire to use animation to improve Citizenship teaching in British schools. He is currently the character designer and lead animator on BBC Jam’s French education cartoon for 7-11 year olds. ambitions
