biog Jeremy Herrin is normally a theatre director, mainly working on new plays. He is presently Associate Director at Live Theatre in Newcastle upon Tyne, though he has worked in London at the Royal Court and the National Theatre. He has directed two short films - 'Warmth' and 'Dead Terry' as part of Live Theatre and Northern Film and Media’s ‘Film in a Week’ project. He has also directed a one off ½ hour multi camera sitcom with a live audience called 'Cold Calling' based on his production of Julia Darling's successful play 'Attachments'. He is currently developing a feature with support from Northern Film and Media and film 4 written by Peter Straughan ansd producxed by Margery Bone. He is also directing a digital short is called ‘Linked’ written by Joe Harbot and produced by Margery Bone. It concerns a middle aged man who is handcuffed to a teenager.
