My degree film 'Type', made at Edinburgh college of art, used a wide range of techniques, including cut-outs, rostrum, multiplane and super-8 animation. It was inspired by my love of educational diagrams and the way we interpret the world. Since graduating i have made 3 films, annotate (cineworks), The Atomists (Bridging the gap) and A Stem Cell Story, an educational film explaining the basic science regarding stem cells. These films contain a lot of animated diagrams, but i have moved more towards documantary and a hybrid of animation and live action.
