At the age of 15 Rob discovered a little known computer programme called After Effects 3.1. Eight years later he emerged from his bedroom with a large beard and an astounding knowledge of the programme. This put him 3.9 versions ahead of all those who started at version 5.5 (there's more combinations - do the maths). Having mastered the software Rob has been pushing it to its limits ever since and has recently taken his expertise out into the real world, directing videos for Adem, Depeche Mode, Zero 7, Moby, Royksopp, Diefenbach amongst others - and when he's not been doing that he's been taking care of the VFX for Franz Ferdinand's 'Walk Away' and Depeche Mode's 'John the Revelator' to name a few. Rob has now set up Bon-Bon, a new design studio specialising in motion graphics for film, tv, web & high impact presentations. For more information visit www.bon-bon.tv my links
