biography
biog
Steven started his career working at film finance and post-production company Future Film Group. He then moved on to now-defunct sales agent Firstupfilm, then worked with the production team at Sheer Films. He is now working as Development Coordinator for Celtic Films Entertainment, after periods of script development for both Raindance and Great British Films. He hates that he has written his own biog in the third person. He is sorry.
influences, inspirations and favourite films
"Night of the Living Dead" (it's everything a film should be), "Citizen Kane" (where would we be without it?), "The Cabinet of Dr Caligari" (remains astonishing), "North by Northwest" (a rollercoaster of misdirection), "The Third Man" (enough said), "Casablanca" (great script, great characters, great themes, GREAT!), "The Limey" and all things Soderbergh (we need more directors like him, he makes it look so easy)... and many more I won't bore you with.
