biog Hi I'm Paul S Abbott. I'm a trained designer and print expert. My part time activities include local Theatre directing and being the Director of Marketing in said theatre. I also work as a Town Councillor and in any spare time I have left I post script pitches to Talent circle.
ambitions I have four main features up my sleeve, the most interesting one is a feature called Chronosaurs, which began life as posted shorts on chat forum. Now I have the concept defined in two ideal formats, one as a novelisation and the other as a script work for film.
project in development Chronosaurs is my dream project at the moment, in pitch form with a noted scenario and storyboard in mind and ready to write. I also have rather cheekily put forward a pitch for Doctor Who, also at Talent Circle, entitled Final Renewel. This is my pitch to wite the last ever episode. Also have a three other good drama scriptsin pitch form on Talent Circle
influences, inspirations and favourite films My favourite film is tough, it depends on genre. My most liked genre is science fiction, which means Bladerunner comes up as annoyingly obvious, and Alien too. As for others, I love the Philadelphia Story and Apocalypse Now. THX 1138 is a must as is 2001, also like The Third Man, mainly for direction and cinematography. My favourite Christmas film is 'It's A wonderful Life.'
