Ornette Spenceley signed up to The National Film and Television school as a producer, his graduation short RUNT had film festivals falling over themselves to screen it. In 2004 he and his screenwriter sister wrote LARD. Then with a DOP friend Ornette embarked on his directional debut, with his son Jake as the lead role, LARD became an instant hit. Being picked up for the London and Berlin Film Festivals and many more. LARD has been selected for overseas festival promotion by the British Council.
