Previously in business, moved into film work and established film % video production company Waveform Films in 2004. Work concentrates on corporates, music promos and tv progs, but also have film treatments in development. Check out www.waveformfilms.com for more info. My most recent short film is 'Explosions' (2006) a UK Film Council/B3 Media/Waveform Films production. This was a digital shorts scheme film about a British Muslim male and his frustration in finding his place in modern Britain. 'Explosions' has been selected for The Times Bfi 50th London Film Festival, which will be the film's World Premiere, Karachi International Film festival, Encounters Film Festival, Cape Town World Cinema Fest and is in competition in the London Lives strand of the Halloween Film Festival in January 2007. Other short films produced recently include Little Things (screened at Soho Shorts, Cine Magic, Final Cut, CIF and Palm Springs and taken on tour with Britspotting 2006); Responsibilities (Singapore and Can Con); Settling Up (Raindance East). A couple of short comedies that were shot on 16mm last year have hit the ground running on their festival cycle. Firstly, Goose Sock Blender Wok and The Last Place You Look got picked up by Sony Europe as part of their New Year on-line marketing campaign for the new PSP platform, and then The Last Place You Look won a prize at the Going Underground film festival and competition, and first prize at Morbegno (Italy). The Last Place You Look has been picked up for distribution in the UK / US by Dazzle Films and the rest of the world by Interfilm. ambitions
