biog I'm a storyboard artist/illustrator/writer living in the UK with a particular interest in TV and film. I've worked as a storyboard artist in independent film, video games and television. I was also the Series Illustrator for Channel 4's "Checking Into History".
My latest article can be found in the January/February edition of Showreel magazine.
My work has also involved illustrating for newspapers, books, DVDs and education exhibitions.
I review screener and preview DVDs for an American animation website. I enjoy spending time on musical instruments, particularly the piano and guitar.
I'm currently less addicted to Podcasts than I once was.
ambitions To finish off the book I'm writing! Been a long time switching media between comic story and full novel, though recently I've decided to focus on the novel format. After a small hiatus in the Hereford hills to collect my ideas, I'm busy working on the first few chapters!
project in development I've just finished some additional storyboards to two previous projects (one film, one commercial advert), and next month is the start of a book promotion for which I was the illustrator, which includes some interviews and book signing.
influences, inspirations and favourite films I'm a long term fan of Ridley Scott's work - particularly his personal tenacity involving storyboarding and pre-production.
I also have an unsurprising love of Hitchcock's visuals direction. Who in the film industry doesn't?
