I've made literally hundreds of short films -- in the form of TV commercials, music videos and yes, even short films -- in animation, live action and in various hybrid forms of my own devising, through my own production companies, initially Pizazz Pictures (later known as a.k.a pizazz and Studio AKA) and currently, Colony Media.

Erm, random top-of-the-head, no particular order and not at all comprehensive list: The Wizard of Oz, Pather Panchali, The Godfather part 2, Mean Streets, Sullivan's Travels, Don't Look Now, The Enigma of Kasper Hauser, Duck Soup and lots of Fellini, Coen Brothers, Winterbottom, Avery (Tex), Loach, Herzog, Renoir, Pasolini, Pixar, Sturges (Preston), Scorsese, Wilder, Antonioni, Coppola, Zeman (Karel) and Norstein.
