Writing, as I may have mentioned over previous BBC Video Diaries, may be the most boring thing there is to film. Where We Come From, the script I have been developing over much of the last year with my co-writer Helen Solomon, has moved into stage two - Workshops. This first new diary covers that area of script development for our follow-up feature to One For The Road, so hopefully not too many shots of a man sat in front of a computer typing.
Apologies that I'm not including any footage from the workshops, or talking too much about the great actors we are working with - it seems a little too intrusive and complicated contractually to include them here in the diary... instead this gives me a fantastic opportunity to say thanks to them for their dedicated contributions to writing the second draft of my/our screenplay.
