synopsis
The Banker is efficient at his job – obsessively collecting, storing and delivering deposits at the sperm bank. Each day the banker delivers the donations to his beloved nurse at the fertility clinic – proud to see her satisfied with the daily quota.Crippled by fear, he lacks the courage to ask her out. A tale of unrequited love on a grand scale.
short fact
Hattie Dalton wrote The Banker after discovering a close friend, desperate to get pregnant, was making regular, expensive trips to a fertility clinic. In between visits she tried the Do-It-Yourself conception route by using her gay friend’s semen and a turkey baster.

The whole experience got Hattie’s mind racing and she and some friends chatted at a dinner party about how far this business of procreation could go.

It’s a short, black comedy about a quirky loner, The Banker, who works in a sperm bank. He’s border-line obsessed with the nurse who works at the fertility clinic across town. He goes to enormous, rather disturbing lengths to prove his love for her.

It’s a little tale of unrequited love on a grand scale.

Congrates. A slick twist in the tail. Liked it. Made me smile.

what can i say it was simply fantastic just great, as the story begins you you laugh at whats goging on behind the closed doors of such a place and wonder about what this banker feels for this woman and how he will show his love for her and at the end after seeing "the bankers" intriguing and very mysterious behaviour you realise how everyday of his life is spent showing his love for this woman in quite a crazy yet remarkably out of this world way 5/5.
