synopsis
An opportunist thief finds himself on the receiving end when the tables are turned.
short fact
Double Take was commissioned for 'Mini Masterpieces' and produced during the Bristol Brief Encountners Short Film Festival in 2003.

The script was selected a week before the festival, I confirmed my cast- Enzo Cilenti - and then travelled to Bristol for the first day of the
festival;

Tuesday: found locations. Wednesday: shot stuff. Thursday: edited it. Friday: dubbed it. Saturday evening: screened it to the Closing Night
audience.

By far the most fun I've ever had making a short and fantastic to be able to screen it to a paying festival audience the day after completing it.

    A really nice simple cose effective idea for a low/budget film, nice to see something on this site that didn't really have any kind of budget but worked on intelligence and a gripping idea, reminded me of Hidden/Cache or the opening of Lost Highway. I was hoping for a more intricate trap at the end of the film, but it held my attention nevertheless, three stars/points, keep the ideas coming!

    Great short film. Dramtic, economic, well acted and suspenseful. There's an ambiguity here but its not imposed or improbable.

    There was some editorial devices that could have been tightened or refined, but other than that, well done.

    super short that just goes to show what can be achieved with a clever idea and little budget.
