synopsis
‘I turn my face to the forest floor’ is a film about the processes of filmmaking. It is based around my experiences of Soho in London, a place crammed with animation studios, post production facilities, film labs etc.

I aimed to combine animation, film and 3D elements to make something unusual, eccentric, dark and twisted.
short fact
The project started when I won a commission with Warp Records to make a video for one of their artist's called Gravenhurst. The animation is inspired by the beautiful music of the band. I had six weeks to make the work so I had to find some very fast ways of making the animation.

I have just finished a new video and album artwork for the Band which can be found on www.warprecords.com/gravenhurst

beautifully haunting music,I have only just discovered this site, and I am by no means an authority on short film, but I am excited at the prospect of discovering more gems like this.
