synopsis
Clockwork creatures made and brought to life by a large mechanical robot, are living in harmony with nature.

They are suddenly, savagely attacked by an aerial bombardment. The smoke clears to reveal a ravaged robot. The small creatures return to mend the robot, who is brought back to life.
short fact
Birdengine uses found objects and outlandish sound samples to create his unique music. We enjoyed creating a world only informed by sounds (there are no lyrics).

We complemented the music by creating a world patched together with hand made imagery and found objects (which were photographed and scanned). It was a tricky piece of music to create imagery for that did not distract the viewer from the music but accompanied and embellished it.

good visual interpretation of the music though I personnally preferred the animation itself to the track it represents. Reminiscent of the Iron Man story. Would be good to see some of their other work

Definitely the best thing for me was the music, a brave and unusual choice.

I enjoyed this a great deal. Beautiful imagery to a weird experimental track.
